Funding options
MSC Psychology accepts a range of funding schemes. If you're unsure which applies to you, get in touch and Kim will help you work it out.
If your GP prepares a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP), you are eligible for a Medicare rebate on up to 10 individual sessions per calendar year. Kim is a registered Medicare provider and the rebate is processed after your session.
If your psychological difficulties are related to a workplace injury or incident, your sessions may be covered under a WorkCover claim. Kim is an approved WorkCover provider in Victoria.
If you have been involved in a transport accident and are experiencing psychological difficulties as a result, your sessions may be funded through the TAC.
Eligible victims of crime in Victoria may access funded psychological support through the Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS). Kim can work with you under this scheme.
If you have an NDIS plan that includes funding for improved daily living or capacity building, psychology sessions may be covered. Please contact us to discuss your plan and goals.
Many private health funds provide rebates for psychology sessions under their extras cover. The amount varies depending on your fund and level of cover. We recommend checking with your insurer directly.
